Annual FiA Program State Meeting held in
Corvallis May 3rd & 4th, 2009
Twice a year, member program staff and boards meet to share and
learn new ideas to enhance their programs. This
spring in addition to the conference, during our business meeting we
will elect officers. You won't want to miss the next great opportunity
for learning, sharing and networking with your FiA friends.
The conference proper begins Monday morning at 9:30AM
until 4PM.

Oregon's Run for the
Roses: June 6, 2010
Oregon’s Run for the Roses is a major fundraiser
for the Sherwood Senior Center and the Sherwood Volunteer Caregivers
Faith in Action program. The 10K run (6.2 miles), 5K Run,
2K Kids Run and
5K Walk (3.1 miles) feature
routes along the Cedar Creek Trail in the Woodhaven development as well
as a run segment along beautiful, rural Brookman Rd.
All the runs and the walk will start at the
Sherwood High School athletic field complex on Sunday morning, June 7,
2009 at 8 AM. The 10K run registration fee is $25; the 5K Run and Walk
fee is $15. T-shirts are available to all registered
participants to purchase.
